Ergo-Motion has an immediate opening for a Full-Time Salaried Ergonomic Specialist.

This position is responsible for overseeing quality of service delivery, both in terms of clinical quality and efficiency of business operations. You will work directly with the management team.  It is a work from home position in either Vancouver, Toronto, Ottawa, or Montreal.

The successful candidates will have a minimum undergraduate degree in Kinesiology (with emphasis in ergonomics), or related discipline.

The candidates should also possess:

•Minimum of ten years related experience in the area of musculoskeletal injury prevention
•Proven knowledge of ergonomic principles with CCPE or candidate status.
•Excellent written communication skills including experience in report writing
•Excellent verbal communication skills including experience in group presentations
•Superior time management and organizational skills to accommodate multiple projects and timely completion of work assignments
•Ability to analyze and subsequently utilize creative problem solving skills
•In-depth knowledge of MS Office programs, including Outlook, Word, PowerPoint and Excel
•Self-motivation and ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
•Reliable transportation, as travel will be required
•Fluently bilingual – French and English

An understanding of occupational health and safety principles, disability management, and WCB regulations is a definite asset.

Job Overview

– review of ergonomic reports and following up ergonomists to ensure the resultant report meets the specific quality standards overall and for the specific employer.
– identify training opportunities for ergonomists
–  implement tracking system as part of QA process
– answering clinical questions/inquiries from customers
– provision of ergonomic assessments within your local market
Business development:
– identify new and/or expanded business opportunities with existing customers
– assist with RFP responses
– identify contacts with target companies to be aware of existing contract expiration
– increase awareness of Ergo Motion through trade shows, updated website content, speaking opportunities (conferences, workshops, webinars, etc.), social media, and other networking opportunities
– review/development of policies and procedures
– new hire orientation/training process including checklist
– improve  systems to improve efficiency of time from referral to report delivery to equipment install to follow up
– improve processes to improve consistency and efficiency
